Description: Sigma Delta Pi will be hosting a presentation and discussion on the history and contributions of Hispanic women to celebrate Women's History Month this March! Please join us for this event, which will be held in Spanish.

"Casa De Papel" Watch Party
Description: Starting at the beginning of the Spring 2021 semester, we will be having a biweekly show watching. We will get together and watch episodes of the first season of "Casa De Papel", followed by a discussion on the episode. We will be watching the show in Spanish, with subtitles available. If you miss a meeting, feel free to watch the episode on your own to catch-up! The show is available on Netflix, and the episode watch dates are listed below.

Every year, a month is dedicated to celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic cultures in the United States. This includes contributions from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. What began as a week in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson eventually grew into an entire month period under the Reagan Administration in 1988. This Hispanic Heritage Month was officially enacted into law on August 17th, 1988.

Veronica Robles Cultural Center

The Veronica Robles Cultural Center is dedicated to promoting Latin American cultures in order to foster stronger communities, economic growth, and social and racial equity through the use of teaching others about the rich Latin American culture and people. Located in East Boston, this center is actively involved in promoting and sharing Latin American culture with the people of Boston and the greater community through online resources. Sigma Delta Pi "Impact"
Graduating members of Sigma Delta Pi are invited to create a short video in Spanish that reflects on the impact Sigma Delta Pi has had on their student experiences and what being a member of Sigma Delta Pi has meant. To be considered for posting to the national Facebook page:
a) Video should be of one or more graduating members of Sigma Delta Pi;
b) Video should be in Spanish and 3-4 minutes in length;
c) Presenter should mention Sigma Delta Pi Day (May 1), when they were initiated, and the importance of the centennial celebration that began January 1, 2019 and will conclude July 31, 2020;
d) Video should be sent by Friday, April 24 to sdpnational@gmail.comas a link to a video uploaded on YouTube. No video attachments please.
